We do import from overseas when possible.  Approximately 4 times a year we receive a container full of reproduction furniture and home decor items.  When we receive these containers, we offer the contents at wholesale prices to the public for a weekend.  If you find an item you like, you can buy it for the tagged price.  The advantage to this method is you can buy the piece you want right away, and not risk having someone outbid you at auction later.

After the sale is over, the remaining items will be placed in Auction.  Many times, you can get an even better bargain at that time.  There are two things to remember: there is a 10% buyers premium incurred at the auction which is not charged at the sale, and if it is a desirable item that another wants, the item may go higher at auction than was previously tagged at the sale.

These sales are advertised in local newspapers and we send out notifications to members of our email and postcard mailing lists.
